- Harry will be 16
years old.
- PlayMaker writes: "I
have a friend at Scholastic and the 6th
book summarization says that when
Hermione is injured in the hospital wing,
Ron and Harry go one-on-one with
Voldemort."
- Zelda writes: "The
title of the sixth book will be Harry
Potter and the Green Flame Torch
[Peter Pettigrew returns] when Harry
finds a torch that gives off a green
flame that will heal good and kill
anything evil."

- Mircea reports: "I
wrote a letter to J.K asking here some
questions about future books she only
answered 1 question which was will Lupin
make a return. She said yes! J.K said
she's pretty much sure she will put him
in the 5th book but she definetly said
he's gonna play a big role in the 7th
book."
- During an online
chat at Scholastic, JK Rowling was asked:
'What makes some witches/wizards become
ghosts after they die and some
not?' She replied: "You don't
really find that out until Book VII, but
I can say that the happiest people do not
become ghosts. As you might guess Moaning
Myrtle!"
- Harry will be 17
years old. He will be in his last
year at Hogwarts and will come of age in
the Wizarding World.
- ThE iNfOrMeR:
Mr.I Nelson has expressed to me that
Harry and Draco will work together to
stop an evil force in book 7.
- Will Snape be
redeemed in book 7? Perhaps a
romance? JK Rowling has alluded to
the possibility! We shall see...

classmates will become a teacher at
Hogwarts - but not Harry, Ron or

that the classmate who becomes a teacher
is none other than neville longbottom!

Mr.B Lucido has informed me that we will
in fact see an heir to Voldemort.
- On 60 Minutes
we learned the Ravenclaw Ghost is The
Gray Lady... will we see her in a book
soon? Samy met JKR at a
book-signing and reported on the message
board: "I asked who the Ravenclaw
ghost is, and she said the Grey Lady, and
you actually meet her in the first book,
when Harry and Ron are waiting for the
sorting, you just don't know it."
- "There is a
character who does manage in desperate
circumstances to do magic quite late in
life, but that is very rare in the world

- We will see a
return of Mr. Weasley's flying car,
Aragog the spider, Sirius Black, Dobby
and Crookshanks! We probably will
not see Lockhart. We will also see a
return of the Dementors!
- JK Rowling says
Hermione will lighten up even more in

Movie |
- NEW!.We know that Gloucester
Cathedral will be
transformed into Hogwarts for the movie!
- Susie Figgis is
now the "former casting
director" of the Harry Potter movie
project... reports say her firm resigned
after Chris Columbus signed with a US
casting director! We'll see what
happens next!
- Many fans have
written to tell me legendary British
actress Maggie Smith is being considered
to play Minerva McGonagall in the
movie! Tim Roth and Robbie
Coltrane are also rumored to be talking
to producers!
- Director Chris
Columbus is going to take on Harry
Potter! He has directed such hits
as 'Stepmom', 'Mrs. Doubtfire' and the
very popular 'Home Alone I & II'!
- The movie will be
based on Book 1 and is expected 16
November 2001.
- The movie will not
be "Americanized" despite some
published rumors.
- Warner Brothers
is reportedly looking into designing a
Harry Potter theme park or a HP ride in
an existing park.
- There may be a
weekly TV cartoon based on Harry and his
adventures at Hogwarts!
- JK Rowling is said
to have a hand at the making of the film,
though it is unsure how. This
should put true fans at ease... her
vision should be brought to life
accurately!
- The movie will be
live-action (with actors) and not
animated (a cartoon). JK Rowling
specificly asked for this when striking a
deal with Warner Brothers. Rumor is
Voldemort may be computer animated.
- The script is
complete! It was drafted by
American writer Steve Kloves who also
wrote the screenplay for The Fabulous
Baker Boys & Flesh and Bone.
- The rights to make
Harry Potter into a movie were purchased
by Warner Brothers for English producer
David Heyman and Heyday Films.

- An anonymous fan
lets us know that Wizards of the Coast
(also the makers of "Magic the
Gathering" and "Pokemon"
card games) will be releasing a Harry
Potter card game sometime in the late
fall. It is rumored to be a wizard
dueling game where two players create
decks and battle to become the
"master wizard". Rumor has it
that it will come out late fall 2000 and
that it will be geared for ages 12 and
up. Currently there is very little
posted but for new reports and
information on the Harry Potter card game
go to www.wizards.com.
- A Harry Potter
beanie? It's true! Celebrity
Bears has come
out with a bear that is patterned right
after Harry Potter! Of course, he
is not called "Harry
Potter" and is not endorsed
by JK Rowling or her publishers in any
way.
- Warner Bros. has
announced Mattel will be manufacturing
toys based on Harry Potter! Little
is known yet, but the line will include
dolls, games and high-tech toys.
Products are due in the fall and are
expected to be sold at Warner Bros.
Studio Stores and then in other retail
locations for the holidays.
- The NY Times
announced Hasbro has won the rights to
produce Harry Potter trading cards,
electronic games and candy (including
Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans)!
We will see these products in the fall.
- Brocky tells us: "videogames.com (reported)
that nintendo is planning a harry potter
video game on its next generation
gamesystem, the dolphin."
